The Most Unique Destinations For Christmas 2016 (Part 1)


From the land near hometown of Santa in the North Pole to tropical coasts, people had voted for 10 tips for visitors during this Christmas season. All of which will bring unforgettable Christmas atmosphere in the hearts of tourists.

1. Lapland, Finland
With Finns, Rovaniemi is the center of Christmas and is considered the home of Santa Claus. Here, the children will be together with Santa making gingerbread, visiting the school of elves or joining calligraphy classes and write together their wish for this Christmas by traditional spikes.

2. Valletta, Malta
The central part of Valletta capital is filled with the Christmas atmosphere now. You can group to sing hymns outside the church of St. John, or admire the twinkling tree lights on the Republican street. The favorite place of tourists this Christmas will include the Manoel Theater and Toy Museum.

3. New York, USA
Rockefeller Center ice skating rink has a long history of more than 79 years and is the place where many tourists decide to visit when they come to New York for Christmas. Every year, the people of New York will decor for the huge tree in the center together. This tradition has celebrated more than 84 years.

4. Quebec, Canada
The oldest neighborhoods in Quebec will be decoreated like Christmas villages from the stories of Charles Dickens. If you love the environment, Quebec is a great destination for you with recycled veneer pines, the light bulb is lit by electricity production sources by cycling, or jewelry and art souvernirs from old newspapers.

5. Honolulu Hawaii, USA
"Mele Kalikimaka" is a traditional Christmas dance from the Hawaiian. It was based on the choreography of the famous song in 1950's Bing Crosby. Instead of wearing traditional Christmas costumes, Santa Claus in the Hawaiian Islands will wear the bib in sea costume. Christmas on the island of Hawaii will last for the whole December with parades, concerts and a large  15m high Christmas tree.
