How To Enjoy The Food On The Plane

If you travel long distance a lot, flying would be the best choice for you to save money and time. But every travelers who did travel by air will assure how terrible the food on the plane were. For many, a short trip on the sky will not worth to eat these terrible food. But what if you are on a long distance flight such as a 18 hour flight from New York to Taipei, living with the cookies or dried food will not be a good idea. Food on the plane is the only choice, plus it's included when you buy the ticket.

A famous chef from New York has once shared that he used salt, pepper more than normal when he prepared the food for the First Class passengers of Singapore Airlines. He explained that the air inside the plan was very dried because of the pressure and the strong ACs. This would cause the lost of salty and sweet taste in passengers by 20%. That is why he had to use pepper, salt, and especially other herbs and spices to increase the taste. "The noise made by the engines is also cause trouble in tasting."

Most of food on the plane are made on the ground and warmed up on the plane which will make the food really dried. In order to avoid tasting these food, you can choose food that contain a lot of fat like fish and pork because they can keep the juice inside after the warming time. Do not choose food like rice or bread because it would make you lose your appertie. Also you can choose food with strong taste like sour, bitter, or salty.

Moreover, if you want to have a perfect meal, you should prepare some spice packs, or chili sauce and bring them in your carry on bag. It would save the day if the food go unexpected.
