Warwick Castle ($810)
You can't beat having your own Castle and Warwick-when disposed of its absolute recreators and visitors-it's a corker. It is precisely in small and pretty much close to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. Breakfast comes up the stairs.
Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences ($550)
Simply one of the best hotels in London. Architecture-all the meticulous swirls and Bas plays transcriptions-you gulp-inducing. The interiors have the panache to match. Here, you will also find one of the best Indian restaurants in the capital, and the opulent "24 carat" earnest afternoon tea. On a road that also has several diplomatic missions, Britain and Australia Society, Wellington Barracks, the headquarters for Rolls-Royce-Zander, Europe's longest bar cocktails (try the blazer Bank with Venezuelan rum). Buckingham Palace is six minutes walk; both Green Park and St. James's Park are 10. Parliament and Westminster Abbey are the same distance. Victoria Station is a 11 minute walk.
Chiltern Firehouse ($650)
A magnet for media and entertainment, honey. The interiors are elegantly retro, the service is polished, breakfasts are excellent, and the restaurant Nuno Mendes is popular with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, David Beckham and Kylie Minogue. The original façade has been restored and the former shed scale is now the lobby guest; the engine House holds the restaurant with bedrooms above; and the extension of new construction between Horseshoe bar and holds a courtyard for outdoor seating. The whole is compact, but it works. The comfort and happiness of the guests were given impressive thought and feels that the moment you are ushered in by porters directly from central casting (head keeper Matt McClure is indeed also an actor). The interiors of the Paris-based Studio KO, are timeless, warm, elegant, vintage and glamorous. She doesn't want to leave. The humor is there as well: in the Lord, "" Cigarettes and Men is scrawled lipstick-style on a glass door; open it and you find yourself in a nice area to smoke.
Inverlochy Castle Hotel ($575)
At the foot of Ben Nevis, encircled by a wreath of Highland peaks (especially beautiful when combed with snow), this is a place of quiet beauty, without any indication that the busy, bustling tourist town of Fort William is only a mile or two along the way. The drive through Glencoe and the Great Glen is one of the glories of Scotland, or, Alternatively, arrive in Fort William with the steam train on the West Highland line-the Rolls Royce will pick you up. Queen Victoria said that he never saw a nicer or more romantic than Castle Inverlochy in 1873, and remains as impressive as ever. With Albert and Michel Roux Jr kitchen Manager the food is as good as the service unmatched. If only every large property of age as gracefully as this.
The Connaught ($650)
It is in the heart of Mayfair. Thanks to The Connaught, Carlos Place was trained by the beautiful and enigmatic waterworks Tadao Ando, ' silence ', visible even from the curve restaurant Espelette. The room is small enough for the staff to look out for guests and take care of them. Butlers are available to all bedrooms; the service is usually very good and great personal commitment. A secret lair of decadence, with a black granite pool, gym powerhouse, back-lit wooden lattice screens and perfumes wafting. The steam room is infused with essential oils that are rotated according to the seasons. The treatments are delightfully indulgent experiences, drawing from Asian traditions and native Americans, many of them more than two hours long and tailored to your needs. There is also reflexology, osteopathy, Chinese medicine and hair salon.
