A Destination A Day - Exploring The Mysterious Ruins Of World's History (Day 01)


You love haunted movies? You want to visit old rotten houses which would make every single person's hair stand on end? There are a few places on Earth that are the most desired destinations for dare-devil people such as Chernobyl in Ukraine, or recently Fukushima in Japan, or The island of Dolls in Mexico, etc. Just talking about those place could make people shivered.

What if you do live old building but not for the scary horror stories? There are lots of old buildings which have been left empty for decades around the world and quite "safe" to visit. These structures somehow were forgotten by the travelers. For those who love the ancient history and are bored of famous places which are packed with tourists, let's check these destinations below. They are all worth the visit for their beauty and history. 

1. Sintra, Portugal
This town is known for its romantic architectural monuments in the 19th and the Portugal's rich culture. Beside beautiful houses and structures inside the city, Sintra is also hiding many invaluable ancient buildings outside the center which only locals and some expert would know. Of course these places are not covered with tourists and worth every effort to go there.
