New Zealand has just suffered a strong earthquake a few weeks ago. This beautiful country got shaken up but has been received lots of help around the world. The recover has started and things has gotten brighter day by day. So do the nature.

Hidden behind its physical attractions such as impressive mountains, unpolluted oceans and beaches, clean and green countryside, cool and fresh air, is laying an epic stories of rare and unique plants as well as the animals.

Human has set the first steps on New Zealand's soil about 1000 years ago and has caused the lost of many native species. The recent impressive efforts, however, has achieved many good results. The whole precess involves removing the introduced pests of wildlife sanctuaries from the island, creating 13 national parks, three maritime parks, two heritage areas of the world, hundreds of reserves and ecological areas, a network of marine reserves and wetlands and protection special rivers and lakes.

A photographer named Rach Steward has recently revealed his incredible journey here through stunning photos of New Zealand's South Island pictures. He said "Along the way I have had some great opportunities, met some amazing people, and been inspired to carry on with the journey. I’m thankful for all those good things that have happened to me. But best of all, I have had the chance to really adventure and get out there and explore my own country. The South Island has been a huge part of my photography over the past year and a half, and I still have so much more I want to see."
