9.Agua Azul Waterfalls
The waterfalls of Agua Azul (Spanish for “Blue Water Falls”) are in the Mexican state of Chiapas. They are located in the municipality of Tumbalá, 69 kilometers from Palenque by the road leading to San Cristobal de las Casas.
This fall consists of many cataracts following one after another as shown in the first picture in the gallery, taken from near the top of the sequence of waterfalls. The largest waterfalls can be as high as 6 meters (20 feet) or less. The photo on the right is next to the bottom of the sequence.
The water is as blue as it looks in the photos and has a high mineral content. Where it falls on the rocks or fallen trees were encased in a thick layer of the shell and limestone. This can be clearly seen in one of the smaller falls in one of the pictures in the gallery below, where the part of the tree leaning against the waterfall is covered heavily while further part is not covered. Some registration forms completely coated may also be in the fall at the same table, as a coating on the rocks.
10.Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres is a Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, 13 kilometers off the coast of Cancun. It is a holiday destination known for beaches like Playa Norte Norte, resort hotels and for snorkeling and diving in the surrounding coral reefs. In Punta Sur, the southern end, there is a lighthouse, the remains of a Mayan temple and a sanctuary for sea turtles.
Isla Mujeres is a paradise nice and quiet across the Bay of Mujeres (Bay of Women) from Cancun. Isla Mujeres is more relaxed and quieter than Cancun, but that does not mean there is not much to do, it just means that you can do nothing at all or fill your day with watersports, shopping, exploring and drinking in that special atmosphere is Isla Mujeres.
Known for the beautiful beaches of white sand and calm turquoise clear waters, the friendliest locals in the Mexican Caribbean. Diversity of the island, fishermen, divers artists and musicians, chefs and expatriates make up a community unlike any other. With the beauty of the Caribbean, Mayan heritage and the simple charm of the people, Isla Mujeres has become a haven for people around the world.
11.Sumidero Canyon
Gully Canyon is a narrow and deep canyon, surrounded by a national park located just north of the city of Chiapa de Corzo in the Mexican state of Chiapas. Creation of the cannon began around the same time as the Grand Canyon in the US state of Arizona, through a crack in the crust and erosion by the Grijalva River, which still runs through it. The canyon has vertical walls that reach 1000 meters, with the river to turn ninety degrees during the thirteen kilometers that runs along the narrow passage. At the north end of the canyon is the Chicoasén Dam, one of several in the Grijalva and important for water storage and river hydroelectricity generation.
Instead of taking a day trip from San Cristobal Tuxla or we decided to spend one night in Chiapa De Corzo to travel the river canyon Sumidero early the next morning. The city is small and compact. The majesty of the canyon Sumidero makes you feel so calm and relax during the entire trip. The route is not very expensive and really worth it, because you can see a totally natural place that has not been touched by man, which is what makes amazing, you can take photos anywhere you see and everywhere it is so green, so if you go to Chiapas to visit the canyon of Sumidero i should stop.
